Child and Adolescent Crisis Stabilization
Program is a medically monitored, short term crisis
stabilization
program that provides psychiatric and behavioral
stabilization for children and adolescents and
detoxification for adolescents who are seriously,
emotionally disturbed and substance abuse dependent
youth.
The goal of the
program is to stabilize children and adolescents
in the least restrictive environment, to
assist in
crisis resolution and to provide a comprehensive
crisis community plan for stabilization that
utilizes the child’s/family’s strengths, natural
supports and community resources.
A secondary goal of the program is to assist
individuals and their families with needed referrals
for other services which can contribute to the
family’s support of the child and his/her resiliency
