Pathways Center - Developmental Disabilities

Persons and families receiving developmental disabilities services are provided comprehensive supports, which are individually designed to meet their needs.  Services are made available in the type and amount needed and may include up to twenty-four hour assistance.  The goal of each service component is to promote maximium independence and community involvement for each participant.  Services are described as follows:


Community Intergrated Services

Provide opportunities for community participation and training including leisure/recreation, religious and cultural activities, vocational pursuits, activities, development of work attitudes, living skills, and volunteerism.

Employment Services

   
Community Employment Services - provide support services to assist participants'
      employment in competitive, community job settings.  Services may include
      assistance with job procurement, training, job coaching and transportation.

      Organizational Employment - provide paid work opportunities for participants
        within program facilities.  Services include vocational training and job coaching.


               Residential Services

      Supported Living - provide supports including training, supervision and
        assistance, transportation, and community intergration, which enable an
        individual to live with their family, compatible roommate/s or in their own home
