Pathways Center Intensive Residential Supports program offers
comprehensive rehabilitative
services to aid adults with serious
mental illness, substance abuse
issues, and co-occurring disorders
in developing daily living skills,
which enable individuals to manage
symptoms and regain functioning lost
due to mental illness, substance
abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders
and to enable adults to live in the
community of their choice with the
greatest degree of independence
possible.
The services provided, at a minimum include management of symptoms,
supportive counseling, medication
education, supportive
activities, and the development of
problem solving skills and community
living skills.
These skills and activities
will serve to promote the consumers
independent utilization of community
based services and the ability to
live in the community and
participate in educational
activities, regain or maintain
competitive employment, develop or
maintain social relationships and
participate in social,
interpersonal, recreational or
community activities.
